Rumeen Farhana (Bengali: রুমিন ফারহানা) is a Bangladeshi politician, lawyer, and Member of Parliament. Also, She is a Barrister-at-Law Member of Parliament and Whip Advocate, Bangladesh Supreme Court. She was born on 19 August 1981 in Islampur, Vijayanagar Upazila of Brahmanbaria District, Bangladesh. She is now 42 years old as of 2022. Rumeen Farhana was elected unopposed for the first time from the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) on 28 May 2019 from reserved seat number 50.

Rumeen Farhana’s father’s name is Oli Ahad who is a Bangladeshi politician. She graduated from Holy Cross School with a bachelor’s degree and Vikarunnisa Noon with a bachelor’s degree in law from the University of London. She later earned a barrister’s degree from Lincoln Inn in the United Kingdom.

Farhana is the central international affairs secretary of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP). As a barrister, he has worked in the legal profession in the High Court of Bangladesh. She represented the BNP as the only woman MP in the Eleventh Parliamentary Election. Due to massive irregularities in the 2019 Bangladeshi elections, Rumin was one of only seven MPs from the BNP. The crackdown on opposition leaders and activists and the imprisonment of former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia severely weakened the party.
Barrister Rumeen Farhana is a member of the Dhaka Bar Association. He is also known as a Bangladeshi writer and journalist in law and politics. He is a lawyer in the High Court Division of the Bangladesh Supreme Court. He is also the publisher and editor of the daily Ittihad published in Bangladesh.
